WIN19 Server Restored

10PM: Windows server WIN19 was rebooted for standard updates but failed to come back online. The updates seems to have corrupted the OS boot and we are trying to fix the same.

Friday, 31st August

2AM: Server is back online at this point - we had tried multiple startup repairs, booting into various modes, uninstalling recent updates from command prompt, running various OS repairs but the server was not starting up normally. After some further manual file replacements, we were able to bring the server back online but it still needs to be checked further and would require a reboot again after further checks. We are continuing to work on this and will post updates as available.

8AM: Server has been online since last night and was rebooted now but has had the same issue again. We are working to bring this server online again.

10AM: Unfortunately, this system appears to be beyond fixing at this point. We are performing a reinstall and recovery from last nights backup from before this issue emerged.

11:50AM: Server base reinstall has been done - we are testing the recovery process now. The process in all will take several hours more. We sincerely regret the inconvenience and are working continually to try and fix this as soon as possible.

2:30PM: Plesk / SQL / Mail Server install has been done - data import will be started shortly after verifying the setup. Plesk backups have been copied to the server already.

5PM: About 50% of content has been copied and is in place. There are some version differences in the services pre and post format due to which there are some errors - we are working on the same.

5:30PM: Secondary IPs and DNS is up at this time.

6PM: All website content has been copied - we running permission corrections which takes some time.

8PM: MySQL databases are seeing some issues - server needs a reboot to continue that investigation. We are waiting for some current running processes to complete before we do that.

11:50PM: All MySQL databases have been restored as well now. All services are up at this time. Please do contact us if you are still facing any issues.
