Service Tax Reduced 25-02-2009 Service tax on web hosting has been reduced to 10.3% effective 25th February 2009 and the same will reflect on all new orders, renewals and invoices generated going forward. Service Tax 15-04-2008 Service tax of 12.36% has been introduced on web hosting by the Government of India from this financial year as per the Budget 2008. This server has been setup with PHP5 and MySQL5. Anti Spam 01-03-2007 We have switched over to the zen.spamhaus.org RBL service from using only SBL and XBL on all our servers. Zen also includes the PBL blacklist which rejects mail from any sender that should not be directly relaying to SMTP servers. That is normally done only by viruses and spammers. We are certain this will help reduce incoming spam by a significant amount and also make mail processing faster as the amount of spam and viruses to be scanned gets reduced at the RBL level itself. New Server - Smartermail 16-11-2006 A new Dual Xeon 3.2Ghz | 4GB RAM Windows 2003 Server was added to the windows servers. The server comes with Plesk 7.6.1, Sitebuilder 3.2 and Smartermail Professional Edition which brings IMAP access to windows servers and a far richer webmail experience. Smartermail also allows better spam and antivirus filtering on windows. The server comes with the standard set of components we offer on our shared Windows 2003 servers and also features ASP.net versions 1.1 and 2 which you can select from your control panel. .mobi Domains 16-10-2006 .mobi is a top-level domain approved by ICANN as a sponsored TLD. It will be restricted to mobile devices and sites providing services for them on the Mobile Web.
