Following our recent launch of servers in Singapore, we are now also providing servers in Amsterdam! The Amsterdam (Netherlands, Europe) datacenter is now live and we can provision servers there right away. Like for our other server locations, you can order your new server at your preferred location directly from our website. On the order details page, simple select your preferred location and we will setup the server accordingly. Pricing for servers placed in our Amsterdam datacenter is also exactly the same as for our US servers.

We are happy to announce that our epromail mailbox pricing has been significantly reduced for 5GB and 10GB mailbox sizes. Prices for the 10GB mailboxes come with the biggest reduction of roughly 40% on old pricing. .COM and .NET domain pricing has gone up globally since July 1st 2010. This change applies to all companies / registrars. As our costs have gone up we will also need to increase the domain pricing accordingly.
While this should have been made effective since July 1st 2010 we have held back the increase for this whole month! That's right, nettigritty will continue to sell .COM and .NET domains at the old pricing all through July! Anti Spam

We have switched over to the zen.spamhaus.org RBL service from using only SBL and XBL on all our servers. Zen also includes the PBL blacklist which rejects mail from any sender that should not be directly relaying to SMTP servers. That is normally done only by viruses and spammers. We are certain this will help reduce incoming spam by a significant amount and also make mail processing faster as the amount of spam and viruses to be scanned gets reduced at the RBL level itself.

New Server - Smartermail

A new Dual Xeon 3.2Ghz | 4GB RAM Windows 2003 Server was added to the windows servers. The server comes with Plesk 7.6.1, Sitebuilder 3.2 and Smartermail Professional Edition which brings IMAP access to windows servers and a far richer webmail experience. Smartermail also allows better spam and antivirus filtering on windows. The server comes with the standard set of components we offer on our shared Windows 2003 servers and also features ASP.net versions 1.1 and 2 which you can select from your control panel.
