How to transfer your domain name from GoDaddy to nettigritty

To transfer a domain out of GoDaddy, you need to obtain the domain transfer key (EPP/Auth code) and approve the transfer. Here’s how:

Step 1: Unlock Your Domain in GoDaddy

1. Log in to your GoDaddy Account.

2. Go to “My Products” and find your domain.

3. Click “Manage” next to the domain.

4. Scroll to “Additional Settings” ? “Domain Lock”.

5. Click “Edit” and turn off the lock.

Step 2: Get the Transfer Key (EPP/Auth Code)

1. In the domain settings page, scroll down to “Transfer domain away from GoDaddy”.

2. Click “Get Authorization Code”.

3. The EPP/Auth code will be displayed or emailed to the registrant’s email.

Step 3: Initiate the Transfer to Nettigritty

1. Visit https://domains.nettigritty.com/domaintransfer

Step 4: Approve the Transfer in GoDaddy

2. Select the domain and click “Approve Transfer” to speed up the process.

Step 5: Wait for Transfer Completion

• If you don’t manually approve, GoDaddy will automatically release the domain within 5-7 days.
