All our servers need you to enable outgoing SMTP server authentication to be able to send emails. This prevents any unauthorised senders from relaying mails through the mail server. <\/p>\n

Your email software may not automatically enable this setting during initial setup. Steps below can be followed for popular email clients:<\/p>\n

Outlook<\/h3>\n

These steps apply to most recent versions of Outlook such as Outlook 2013, 2016, and 2019:<\/p>\n

  1. Click File<\/li>\n
  2. Under Account Information, click Account Settings. On the drop-down click Account Settings<\/li>\n
  3. On the pop-up, select the email address, and click Change\u2026<\/li>\n
  4. Click More Settings button on the POP and IMAP Account Settings<\/li>\n
  5. Click Outgoing Server tab, check the box for \u201cMy outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication\u201d and make sure \u201cUse same settings as my incoming mail server\u201d is selected.<\/li>\n
  6. Click Advanced tab, make sure the incoming and outgoing port numbers and encryption are correct.<\/li>\n
  7. Click OK to save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Mac Mail<\/h3>\n

    These steps apply to Mac users with OS from Mac OS Sierra, High Sierra, and Catalina:<\/p>\n

    1. Click Mail menu and select Preferences.<\/li>\n
    2. Select the email address you\u2019re doing changes with and click Server Settings<\/li>\n
    3. On Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) section, uncheck box \u201cAutomatically manage connection settings\u201d.<\/li>\n
    4. Check port number and encryption are correct, and select Password for Authentication.<\/li>\n
    5. Click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Thunderbird<\/h3>\n

      These steps apply to both Windows and Apple users:<\/p>\n

      1. Click your email address on the left, under Accounts, select View settings for this account.<\/li>\n
      2. Click Server Settings under your email address.<\/li>\n
      3. Under Security Settings click the drop-down box and select Password.<\/li>\n
